Reviews
We went to this restaurant as we were a little bit in a rush and it was recommended by the nearby Leon’s place hotel. Foos was unusually rich of creams. Could not really taste the ingredients. Location by the road in an internal avenue. So so overall
I went to this place last night that I discovered on various social media.
Nice place, new and well kept.
But let's move on to the culinary aspect.
Unfortunately I cannot follow up on the numerous positive reviews.
The dough proposed for the pizzas is a mix of 0, 00, wholemeal and 5-cereal flour.
They certainly make it beautiful to look at but they give it a very rubbery consistency as well as not enhancing the seasonings.
On the menu it says that it is possible to order pizza, made in the wheel, and that the whole one is recommended for two people.
One expects a family sized pizza. But that's not the case. The dimensions are slightly larger but not enough to justify a pizza suitable for two people. Furthermore, it says on the menu that half cannot be ordered individually. So if I wanted to get two whole margheritas I would pay €22 just for pizzas. There is certainly a lot of strategy. But an attentive customer who comes to eat pizza risks never coming back.
Located in a street in Mariglianella, very easy to find and get there, where you will find a nice place, not too big, but above all very welcoming thanks to the kind, courteous and attentive staff. The menu is not very extensive, but what certainly stands out are the pizzas, crunchy and soft at the same time and with a good flavour, I recommend the "Quattro P", but they are all worth trying. Good starters. A dessert worth trying is the black cherry cream flavored slice, which is easier to enjoy than the Nutella tart. Ultimately, I absolutely recommend trying this place!
Very nice place, warm and welcoming. We took some fried foods (crocchè, omelette and stuffed pacchero) which were good (only the omelette I didn't like very much). Then we had a pizza nel ruoto, half with potatoes and black pig and the other margherita. They are pizzas served on a cutting board and are quite large, in fact the girl told us that two people could eat them. Then we tasted some really good gnocchi in pignatiello. The service is fast and helpful. Advised!
Fantastic pizza, with exceptional dough, soft and light. Their pizza starts from a 600g dough (normally 200g), therefore recommended for two people, and you can fill it as you like, or choose two different fillings. However, it is so light that it is possible to eat it alone (the challenge awaits you). The cuisine is also very good with typical traditional dishes cooked to perfection.
The place is all new and very well looked after,
comfortable and welcoming.
Really friendly and nice staff, attentive to customer needs.
Recommended 👍
Delicious pizza nel ruoto, soft and light dough with a mix of flours, the fried foods are also delicious. Nice place and super friendly staff. I recommend the correctera and the nerano.
I have been a regular customer of the Fuoco Lento restaurant for some time now. It becomes a "safety", the first place that comes to mind if you immediately decide to go out for dinner without giving up the welcoming warmth of home. At the …
I've come here several times. The pizza is a nice hybrid between pan pizza and normal pizza that you absolutely must try. The dough is excellent! Cooking takes a time somewhere between a few minutes for classic pizza and half an hour for pan pizza, so expect to have to wait a bit.
